Here are 12 things to do for each month of the year in 2018, so you can vacation in Pinellas County any time.

January- MLK National Parade & Battle of the Bands

January 2019

You will want to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day every year once you get a taste of the MLK National Parade in St. Pete.  This parade is the nation’s longest-running parade and runs from Tropicana Field to Vinoy Park.  Including a Battle of the Bands and Drum Line Extravaganza, this parade is a must-see.

February- Clearwater Sea Blues Festival

If you love the blue sea and the sounds of the blues, you’ve got everything you need in this event!  Meet at Coachman Park and see the area’s best blues musicians mixing with international legends- all with a view of the water.  Don’t forget to bring your appetite- some of the best seafood food vendors show up on the menu at this event.

March- Flogging Molly

Get into the Irish spirit a little early this year and come see Flogging Molly perform as part of their Life is Good Spring Tour at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg. 

April- $10 Tuesday

April 3rd

Traveling with the kiddos?  Every Tuesday in April, beginning April 3rd, is $10 Tuesday at Boing! FunCenter!  Jump on a giant trampoline in this trampoline center in Tampa, Florida.

May- Art on the House

Fridays, May 4 - May 25

Want to work a little culture into your vacation?  Art on the House offers pay-as-you-will admission every Friday.  You can pay any amount as an admission fee and enjoy art in downtown Tampa. 

June-  BBQ

June 8 - 10

The Baddest BBQ on the Bone Fishing Slam & BBQ Festival is a 3-day event which includes a fishing tournament for both kids and adults, live music, vendors, and a BBQ festival, to start!  There’s a whole lot more to see as well, and if you are vacationing in Pinellas County in June this is a must-stop.

July- Sunsets

Every Day

Sunsets at Pier 60 will create vacation memories for you and your family that will last a lifetime.  Watch the beautiful sunset, visit the daily sunset festival, and listen to some live music.

August- Shop Local


Want to shop local in St. Pete?  Check out the Saturday Morning Market from 9 AM - 2 PM.

September- Boat Championship

September 28 - 30

The Super Boat National Championship & Festival in Clearwater is a fun-filled lineup of events for boat lovers and anyone who wants to have fun!

October- Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest Village will truly put you in the Fall spirit!  With authentic German food, beer, and attire, you’ll be transported to a fun-filled Oktoberfest.

November- RibFest

Date TBA

Don’t miss RibFest at Vinoy Park in downtown St. Pete!  Live music, family fun, and bbq- who could want more?

December- Lights in the Garden

Holiday Lights in the Garden is the holiday event to look forward to in Largo! 

Take in more than 750,000 lights as the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo are magically transformed into a holiday paradise for visitors to stroll through. The annual event, which asks for a small donation, runs through Dec. 31.
