Treasure Island
Treasure Island is exactly as it sounds, a pure treasure.
Not only were there actual “treasure chests” found buried on the beach many moons ago, but it is also still considered to be a diamond among the rough in terms of the west coastline of Florida. This beautiful location is currently filled with all different walks of life. Though this barrier island is home to over 5,800 single family dwellings, it is also a desired beach destination for the local mainlanders and travelers from afar.
The atmosphere on Treasure Island is just as diverse as its clientele. Here you will find cuisine to satisfy every taste bud in addition to swimming, shelling, strolling on the beach, and enjoying a tiki bar or two. All this beauty and fun is encapsulated within the town’s 3-mile stretch of sandy white beaches.
